Contact information

In the Contact information section, the user must provide contact information for communication with the natural person or legal entity selected in the profile. The system may require the user to update their contact information after a certain period.

Contact information of a natural person

When selecting the profile of a natural person, the following items are available in the "Contact information" section:

       Data entry field "E-mail";

       Data entry field "Phone number";

       Interface language switch;

       Basic information about the natural person:

     o        Name and surname;

     o        Personal identity number.

The basic information is available to the user in read-only mode.

"E-mail" and "Phone number" are data entry fields, while interface language is a list of options.

On the right, opposite the "E-mail" and "Phone number" data entry fields, there is a "Verify" button which the user verifies the entered information with. Until the user enters information in the data entry fields in the appropriate format, the "Verify" buttons remain inactive.

After entering the information and pressing the "Verify" button, a modal window opens for the user, displaying information about sending a verification code to the e-mail address or phone number entered by the user and a description of the next steps. The modal window counts down the period of validity of the verification code sent, which is five (5) minutes. The "Confirm" button is in the lower right corner of the window.

       When the user enters the correct verification code within the specified time, by pressing the Confirm button, the modal window closes and a notification about the successful verification of the e-mail address or phone number appears in the Portal. The e-mail or phone number entered is saved in the user’s contact information section;

       If the user enters an incorrect verification code, the modal window remains open and an error message appears in the Portal, asking the user to re-enter the code;

       If the user does not enter the verification code, and the countdown ends, the modal window closes. No e-mail or phone number is saved. To re-initiate the e-mail or phone number verification process, press the "Verify" button.

The user can choose two interface languages:

       Latvian;

       English.

Languages are changed by clicking on the arrow on the selection list and clicking on the language.

Legal entity contact information

If the "E-mail" field of the "Contact information" section has not been filled in and saved for the selected legal entity profile, the user can only access the "E-mail" data entry field and the subject’s basic information unit on the right side of the page, which includes the following information:

       Name;

       Registration number;

       Legal address;

•       Registration date.

Opposite the e-mail data entry field, on the right side, is the "Verify" button, with the help of which the user verifies the entered e-mail address. If the user has not entered an e-mail address in the data entry field, the "Verify" button is inactive.

The phone number is saved in the contact information section;

       If the user enters an incorrect verification code, the modal window remains open and an error message appears in the Portal, asking the user to re-enter the code;

       If the user does not enter the verification code, and the countdown ends, the modal window closes. The phone number is not saved. To re-initiate the phone number verification process, press the "Verify" button.
